The aplication of lasers in dermatology

The article explains the principle of laser procedures. Lasers are used in dermatology because of selective photothermolysis.
It means a preferential absorption of electromagnetic radiation in certain tissues. According their purpose we can differentiate lasers for treatment of vessel lesions, pigmentation and tattoos, removal of unwanted hairs, for ablation of skin surface, for acne treatment, and for induction of collagen formation.
