Genodermatoses in infancy

The author presents a selection of some serious skin diseases of newborns and infants which have a genetic background and require

a special neonatologist and paediatrician approach, genetic examination, and a long-term surveillance by a paediatric dermatologist.

The paper mainly deals with the group of ichthyoses and congenital bullous diseases.
