The known spectrum of skin manifestations in cutaneous Lyme disease is variable. The classical manifestations of cutaneous borreliosis
like erythema chronicum migrans, borrelial lymphocytoma and acrodermatitis chronica atrophicans. An increasing evidence suggests that
at least in part of other skin manifestations can Borrelia infection play an important role. Cutaneous borreliosis can also mimic other skin
conditions. Host populations, vectors ecology and transmission efficiency of Borrelia are discussed. The current review describes the
evolution of of skin changes in Borreliosis as a important manifestation due to possible establishment of diagnosis. Therapeutical recommendations
for treatment are presented.
