Antibiotics in dermatology from the perspective of microbiologist

Antimicrobial agents represent an important part of therapy for skin and sexually transmitted diseases. They allow us to treat the cause

as determined by diagnosis and results of microbiological testing. If all necessary conditions are met, the therapy mostly results in significant

clinical effects. The article summarizes aspects of antimicrobial therapy as viewed by a microbiologist.
