Patients' questions answered (Cooperation with the "Hojení 21" project)

Wound healing using a phase method has been gaining its popularity in the Czech Republic for more than ten years. For better education
of patients, the "Hojení 21" (Healing 21) project was established in 2005 on the initiative of the Czech Health Promotion Association and
the Czech Wound Management Association. An online consultation service has been in operation for three years in which experts in
wound healing answer patient questions. Statistical data are indicative of an interest of lay persons in the issue as well as the presence
of systemic problems in health care services, resulting from a lack of specialized practices dealing with non-healing wounds.
