Current options in the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency

This article presents current views on chronic venous insufficiency (CVI).

It deals with opinions on the diagnosis of the disease. It assesses the standard and intervention therapy. For the treatment of CVI are

important duplex sonography, compression therapy and perforator ligation and stripping saphenous vein.
