Malignant melanoma imitating deep mycosis

In this document, there is represented a case of 73-year-old man who was referred to our department by a outpatient dermatologist
due to a month-lasting ulcerated lesion in hair. With regarding to the clinical picture and anamnestic data about horse
breeding a deep mycosis of Kerion Celsi character was considered in the differential diagnosis. Nonetheless, skin biopsy has
proven extremely advanced nodular melanoma.
