Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a chronic inflammatory skin disease that significantly affects patients' quality of life, not only physically but also psychologically. This condition, which affects areas with a high concentration of apocrine glands, is characterized by painful abscesses and sinus tracts. Studies show that patients with HS face an increased risk of psychological issues, particularly depression and anxiety, which can worsen overall well-being and hinder daily functioning. This article focuses on the psychological impact of HS in adult patients, including its effects on their social relationships and overall quality of life. Early diagnosis and psychological support are essential for improving patients' health and mental well-being.
