Oral cavity, including the lips, is permanently exposed to a wide spectrum of potential allergens during dental treatment, oral hygiene and also in connection with flavorings and conservants in pharmaceutical products and cosmetics. The aim of the study was to assess a sensitizing potential of dental materials and other oral contactants using standard patch tests. Cow‘s milk is one of the most common allergens. Cow‘s milk allergy affects mainly atopic children in early life. It is diagnosis encompassing various clinical symptoms. There are involed IgE-mediated and non IgE-mediated immunological mechanisms in pathogenesis. Actinic keratoses are a sun induced cutaneous lesion, currently considered as a squamous cell carcinoma in situ that has the potencial to progress to invasive SCC. To treat them, numerous, ablative and no ablative, therapeutic approaches exist. Among them, imiquimod, a toll like receptor agonist, is effective and safe with an acceptable tolerability in the treatment of AK.

The SAPHO syndrome

The SAPHO syndrome was described for the first time by the French dermatology institute in 1877 (1). It deals with coincidence of the dermatic and bony-arthral signs. The etiology is unknown. It shows symptoms in most cases in the period of adolescence. There are used to the general therapy antharthritic, retinoids, antibiotics and corticosteroid. Locally there are applied external middles in conformity with the dermatic infliction. In the note is described the case of 17 years old boy. He had been monitored since 2006 and after that he has been treated because of the aggravation of acne with the gradual progress of bony and arthral infliction....

Treatment of leg ulcers with Xe-Derma

This case report presents a successful treatment of leg ulcers with Xe-Derma biological cover in two female patients. Both patients presented with chronic leg ulcerations of several years' duration that had failed to be healed by using various modern preparations. Xe-Derma is a temporary cover with biological activity supporting cell proliferation and migration that is intended for the treatment of acute and chronic wounds. It differs with its biostimulatory effects from the other synthetic covers that only modify the wound milieu while lacking biological activity.
