Dermatologická externa tuhá a polotuhá

Charakter a druh lékové formy je závislý na vlastnostech vehikula, do kterého je účinná látka vpravována. Dermatologická externa pevné
a polotuhé konzistence patří k tvarově nespecifickým lékovým formám. Předepisují se zásypy, suspenze, gely, pasty, masti a krémy.
Rozpouštěná látka i rozpouštědlo se udávají v hmotnostních jednotkách (v gramech). Aplikační formu volíme dle charakteru kožních
projevů nebo dle požadované hloubky působení. Nevhodně aplikovaný lék ztrácí mnohdy svůj účinek, ale může také zhoršit klinický
obraz. Vzhledem k množství tuhých a polotuhých přípravků budou v této kapitole sepsány recepty zásypů, tekutých pudrů a past. Krémy,
masti a gely budou obsahem 3. dílu receptáře. V receptech je použito názvosloví dle platného lékopisu (např. dříve zinci oxydati = nyní
zinci oxidi, dříve endiaroni = nyní cloroxini).

Solid and semisolid external dermatological drugs
The character and type of a drug formulation is dependent on the properties of the vehicle into which the active substance is introduced.
External dermatological drugs of solid and semisolid consistency are among shape non-specific drug formulations. Powders,
suspensions, gels, pastes, ointments, and creams are commonly prescribed. Both the solute and the solvent are stated in units of weight
(grams). The form of application is selected based on the character of the skin manifestations or the depth of action required. A drug
applied inadequately may often fail to have an effect but it may also deteriorate the clinical presentation. Given the large number of
solid and semisolid preparations, this chapter will list the prescriptions for powders, liquid powders, and pastes. Creams, ointments, and
gels will be dealt with in part three of this prescription book. The terminology used in the prescriptions is in conformity with the valid
pharmacopoeia (e. g., previously zinci oxydati = currently zinci oxidi, previously endiaroni = currently cloroxini).
