Eyelid swelling from an ophthalmologic point of view

Swelling of the eyelids appears to be a common symptom not only in Ophthalmology. The etiology is often complicated and herpetic

affection is one of the most common causes. Collaboration of ophthalmologist and dermatologist is frequently required to make the

right diagnosis.
