News in the treatment of acute and non-healing wounds

Quality dressings, complete dressing´s portfolio for wet wound healing, choice of a great variety of different materials. This is thecurrent world of non-healing wounds. Do we need more news? The traditional nationwide congress with international participationon interdisciplinary cooperation in the treatment of wounds and skin defects, which is held every year in Pardubice, aswell as the 2017 Congress of European Wound Management Association (EWMA), which took place in May in Amsterdam. Bothcongresses are designed for health care professionals who treat non-healing wounds and offer new findings, studies, materials,procedures for treating various types of wounds, management of wound infection, an overview of available materials for chronicand acute wounds, as well as new scientific findings about biofilm, factors influencing wound healing and a number of interestingcase studies. The ambition of this article is not to inform about all available news, but to offer some new or interesting concepts,views and medical devices for healing various types of wounds.
