Aesthetic medicine is a young, modern and rapidly evolving part of classical medicine and is part of a number of disciplines. Experts in the European Union are working on legislation to standardize aesthetic medicine. The invasiveness of medical interventions in aesthetic medicine is growing due to the development of technologies and procedures. Patients want the most visible and fastest effect possible, and this pushes aesthetic medicine into more aggressive procedures. Along with invasiveness, there is also an unpleasant experience and pain of procedures. The article focuses on the possibilities of anesthesia in minimally invasive procedures in aesthetic medicine.
