Atopic dermatitis is the first step in the so-called atopic march. Food allergy is associated with it particularly in early childhood and in more severe forms. The range of trigger foods in food allergy differs substantially in different age categories. The paper presents an overview of the current options for diagnosing, treating, and preventing food allergy.

Keywords: atopic dermatitis, food allergy.
